So one week and two days later, I keep getting teased by the folks in the office 'cause I have worn ties on a couple of days. If you didn't know we're uber-casual around here, and I'm easing into it. Hey...I can handle the teasing! No biggie.... Besides, ties have feelings and get upset if they're not shown off every-now-and-then.
Being "new," one of the things I'd really like to do is get to know you, our Posties. Sure I can read your comments and posts but I need something a little more interactive than that! So the brainstorm begins! Here's what I propose: on top of challenging you guys to bring more people to sign-up on PayPerPost.com (I have to do it -- remember what I said my job is?!) I want to know which of my ties you like and which ones you don't! What I'll do is bring a tie with me to all of my video confessionals and you tell me if you like it or not. It's that easy. Just continue to check the blog for new videos, or check RockStartUp.com.
How does that sound?
Peace....
P.S. Awesome job on the Postie pictures! We got lots in today!

I did notice how casual everyone was when I visited the office, and it was cool. Just think - you're the sharp dressed man in a sea of denim and t-shirts!

As long as your attitude isn't all "mister stuffy tie" then no big, personally I vote no-tie even with a collared shirt, they just look so uncomfortable and I'd much rather a guy show off his shoulders.

I'm all for wearing ties - look your sharpest every time you leave home - I like it when a person cares enough about his/her appearance to take time to look professional.

I am going to auto-vote against any tie you display.
I hate ties -- they feel too much like a noose, and there's pretty much no way that I'll ever be able to get used to them. I mean, good grief, I don't even wear any sort of jewelry around my neck, and I have a lot of trouble wearing a wristwatch -- the weight and contact get annoying as all get out.
Sure, they say a tie makes you look professional, but I'm not into that. I'd rather let my skills do the talking for me.

Got any bowties? :)
I'll be watching and I'll let you know which ones work best for 'ya.
Hey, speaking of referrals, my affiliate area is missing on the blogger dashboard. I can't check to see if I got any new referrals.

and why don't you people have a icon that people that paste on their blogs? I had to rip some pic of PPP logo from somewhere.
It helps in new signups and better marketing

My last job required us to wear a tie all the time we were in the office. It was a bit tough as dress code in my previous job was smart casual. In the end I got used to it. Now I sometimes miss not wearing a tie.
