I had reached out to some of our 1K Tuesday earners and came across Bonnie one of our Posties. I had asked her what she was planning on doing with her earnings. She responded to me and felt the need to pass this along. Here is what Bonnie had to say:

I donated that money (plus some more) to the Susan B. Koman walk for the cure. I have breast cancer and recently had surgery for it and my friend is walking for me. How about them apples?

The above is a link to the post where I talk about two of my friends walking for me. Both links in the post take you to their site where anyone can sponsor them. They are both walking for me, Empress Bee (of the high sea). It is a lovely story too. Maggie Moo is a chef and she is having a bake sale on Saturday where she is baking all the stuff herself and all the proceeds go to the walk too. They are special ladies. Maggie Moo is a postie. I don't think Asara is, I am not sure.

Why not visit them both for some background. Maggie Moo also make a ribbon for me that is now appearing all around the blogesphere. I love cake and talk about it all the time. Cake, grandchildren, big cruise ships, Sarge (my hubby of almost 40 years), things I love!!!

We love PPP. I have a new blog, muffin53.com, that is waiting to be ranked so I can submit it because I never knew about that before reading the boards. The boards are very helpful by the way, and the people on them very nice to newbys!!!

Oh, and I forgot to let you all know something! I do not know these women, I have only met them through blogging and have never seen them. Isn't that amazing?
