Thanks to all the IZEA Team-members who participated, those friends and family who voted, and to Ted for continuing to make this a fun-and-enjoyable atmosphere to work in.
You may recall a little "challenge" Ted presented last week, with a $250 cash prize attached to it. Well, we pulled the data and the SocialSpark user with the most profile views as of midnight May 31st is elite.
Congratulations, elite! We'll be in touch to make arrangements for your prize.
Our Shoeperstar winner, Aaron (who runs Digital Vegetarian), made it to SXSW. He and Ted are off making the rounds in the exhibit area. More details to come!

Congratulations to Aaron from Digital Vegetarian for winning the Shoeperstar contest. Aaron is getting a FREE ride to SXSW to hang with Jeremy Schoemaker of ShoeMoney and Ted Murphy. He also gets to be featured in an upcoming episode of RockStartUp.
Check out his entry here.

Come by our booth at SXSW Interactive from March 7-11, 2008.
We are going to hold off on $1k Tuesdays and World Wide Wednesdays for the weeks leading up to the unveiling of Argus so we have the budget to launch with a bang. I promise it will be worth the wait. Congrats to all the recent Posties who have grabbed these high dollar Opps.
The entries keep rolling in for the PayPerPost Blog Battle Royale. I have to say that I am really impressed by some of these posts, you guys are doing a great job.
From teaching robots to sexbots and mommy bots, the ideas have been all over the place and the competition has heated up, though the odds are still pretty damn good for all of you. We have 34 comments and 8 trackbacks (with some duplicates) so far, the people that have entered have a better than 1 in 10 opportunity of grabbing an iRobot Roomba Vacuum. Even if that number doubled I would take those odds.
All posts are due by tomorrow night at midnight. If you are staying up waiting for that $500 Opp to drop you might as well make good use of your time... you never know.
The PPP Blog Battle Royale looks to be starting strong with initial blog posts that include a robot that cleans up dog doo as well as a robot that takes care of your office area. My favorite line from that post is "The Office Roomba will give consentual back rubs." I used to work with someone that gave a lot of back rubs... not always consentual. It was kinda like oh... hey... your rubbing my back again... how did you get behind me again? That feels kinda good and really awkward, please come back and do it tomorrow.
I hope that the competition heats up this week. I am looking to see what some long time posties can come up with. Will Cass create a knitting robot? Will Chad W. Smith create a robot that plays video games for him? Will Marcus create a security bot? Who knows... we will just have to see.
Hope you guys like the logo, I am digging the mexican wrestling mask. Nacccchooooooooo.....
Please make sure you post your entry to the original post.
